Is freestyle cup dead?

I noticed as soon as i logged on something was up. June 09 is long past and i see no changes in the site at all.

yes, i think it will start again with TM2 (thats what i've heard anyways)

evets the headadmin is gone since 1 year and i organized some cups, during his abscence. but i have no time to organize newer ones because my exams.

additionally there are at least ~10 active riders at the moment. this is not enough for all the shit we take...

we gonna return with TM2, i am sure!

listen, if you need any help with new events i am willing to help this cup come back, it isn't fun to let it die like this, i'm willing to help it back to life.

hmmm sounds interesting... but the new judges (nitroguy and me) already talked about some kinds of advertisement, but no new riders came...

i mean, the monthly clips are almsot nice and nice to look at, but its too much work for a nonsense. the judging at all is hard, too. and momentarly not enough riders are active. whether the TEP's, Fks, NSX, WTF, GoD... and what they all called like

Wow, i only wish some of the servers were still up, like the GoD server, i was on that one every day, it might have to do with freestyle servers not being shown at all, and most of the riders are leaving trackmania for example SIH, and everyone else just does races... Sucks that no new riders are joining, just the one or two who watched the freestyle vids on tmtube and whatnot...

nsx is the most visited FS server atm... so maybe you should be there...

i already am there iskate, your too late one that one.

but there ain't that many great freestyle tracks out there...

After reading this thread again after all those years, all I can say is that not only the Freestyle Cup is dead, but Trackmania is dead.

I found a very good article online named How Bad Choices Wrecked Trackmania's Momentum, a must read for everyone who once loved (or still loves) this game.
